It has been a busy summer. During June and July we delivered Future Places AR workshops with Bristol City Council, supporting local imagination to help shape the future of south Bristol, as part of the South Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood and Whitehouse St regeneration programmes.

Working closely with the council’s arts development, transport and regeneration teams, we worked with local people in 4 locations that are going through change in the south of the city.
We engaged participants of all ages, including primary school pupils, residents, local businesses and representatives from WECIL (the West of England Centre for Inclusive Living).  Meeting on local streets and in public spaces we used augmented reality to bring people’s ideas for the future of that place to life, exploring what makes a space welcoming, safe, distinctive and accessible.
